Jersey shore star Snooki put Italian two police officers in hospital tonight after she crashed into their patrol car.
The 23-year-old was driving the Fiat Multipla with co-star Deena in the front seat and production crew in the back when the accident happened in the evening rush hour.
Reports that she had been 'taken into custody' were denied by police but they did say she had been questioned at length about the crash and may face charges at a later date.

While shooting pictures for our new book on lions at Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve, we found some lions patrolling the fence line. We placed our GoPro action camera in their path hoping to catch a glimpse of them as they came past. Chasers Intercept Joplin Tornado
We were chasing this storm and were right behind it when it dropped the tornado in Joplin. The tragedy is horrible. We stopped the camera after we picked up our first injured victim. We picked up many more and worked as an ambulance for many hours, shuttling people to the hospital. We will never forget the people we met, or the things we saw. We pray they all made it . So sad. This is exactly WHY we chase. We are praying for you Joplin.

HERE'S AN UPDATE E-MAIL FROM MICHAEL (contestant on the show): Awesome man. This is so random but I am so glad you put this up. Folks are talking. The show won awards in the UK and so they made a US version. This was the pilot episode and the most popular. it was such a success that they got a full season from it. it is an hour long show and we were all randomly chosen. The judges and the contestants. So they wanted to see if the judges could "judge" without prejudice. They would go on to award the winner 25K. I was the winner. Myself and the other finalist were the only 2 contestants that got to actually meet the judges and when i met them, the polynesian guy had a change of heart and actually voted FOR me. The edits don't show that he came from his seat and hugged me. It was a very interesting experience. We had no idea what the judges were saying or doing or who they even were, for that matter. so i had no idea that he was racist when i went out and met the judges. It ended well though. I talked to that guy over a meal and he said that he had a change of heart.
May, 2008 our newly adopted (leased!) Greyhound, Ivy unexpectedly walked right up to a healthy squirrel standing stock still & quick as lightning, killed it with one shake. She dropped it & walked on, my husband behind her, his jaw agape. I went to retrieve the squirrel to reverently bury it. I ducked in the house for a shovel. A staffer surnamed Wang at Suining City Central Hospital in Sichuan province says the girls were born Thursday.
Wang said Tuesday the parents, who are farmers, did not want to have the babies at first, fearing they could not afford to keep them alive. She said they transferred the twins to a hospital in the nearby metropolis of Chongqing to be examined by experts.
The local Huaxi Metropolis Daily reported the twins weighed 9 pounds (4 kilograms) and measured 20 inches (51 centimeters). They have two spines and two esophaguses and share other organs. Doctors were quoted as saying it would be nearly impossible to separate them.

First Lady Michelle Obama has a lot of things going for her. She's married to the president of the United States. She has two cute kids. Famously toned arms. A great wardrobe.
Oh, and she totally knows how to Dougie.
The first lady paid a surprise visit to ,America's futureTuesday afternoon. When she arrived, the students were already out on the field, prepping to perform a Beyoncé workout video as part of the first lady's nationwide "Let's Move" initiative.
Students were warming up to the Black Eyed Peas song "I Gotta Feeling" when Michelle Obama took the stage. As students began to recognize her, they screeched with excitement and rushed closer to the stage.
"Are you surprised?" Obama asked them.
We're guessing yes.
"I know all of you love Beyoncé, right?" Obama asked the kids. "Me too! Beyoncé is one of my favorite performers on the planet."
The first lady praised them for practicing the video, telling them it's great they're working out and having fun at the same time.
Then the kiddos displayed their new moves, although she'd warned them she hadn't had time to learn the moves in the song. "I'm gonna be off to the side trying not to embarrass myself," she said.
That didn't keep her from grooving on her own, though. Michelle Obama performed the Dougie, the Running Man and the Cha-Cha during the song.
But afterward, she returned to the stage, suggesting they do it again. This time, Obama got into it much more, picking up more of the moves. See, all she needed was a bit of a warm-up.
More than 600 schools performed the Beyoncé workout simultaneously this afternoon. Only one school, of course, was lucky enough to have the first lady doing the Dougie on the sidelines.
