Letter Received From Cornerstone Reformed Church (PHOTO)
… we are declaring that you are no longer a Christian, and that you are no longer part of the company of the saved.

Even if I were a Christian, I don’t think I’d believe that deciding “the company of the saved” is up to these guys. How about you let peoples’ relationship with god be between them and God.
GOD, I can’t imagine why he’d want to leave…

Pastor Burke had some trouble in the past.

“on April 17, 1999, Illiana Presbytery deposed the Rev. Mr. Burke Shade from the ministry. The court took the action after finding him guilty on three of the four charges which had been presented against him.”

This is exactly why Christianity will always fail. What happened to judge not less ye be judged?
I am a proud Pagan. Witch. Wiccan. Call me what you want. I do not believe in the devil and lead my life in peace.
Terran Grey
Yeah, this is pretty terrible. But Terran, do you really think all Christians are like this narrow-minded group? This is more the exception than the rule.
For the record, Christians are just people too. And it's judge not lest ye be judged BY THE SAME STANDARD. Not saying that it's OK to judge people, but it gives a more complete picture of what is being told. Everybody screws up, Christians don't get a pass on that, trust me. As far as your Pagan beliefs Terran, it makes sense that you don't believe in the Devil. From my Christian perspective (in that I do believe in him) it's exactly what he wants. If you don't believe in him, you don't believe in God and that's all Satan needs to put you in his "win" column. I am glad that you have found something that grants you peace though
Fred, Although I respect you for your opinion I have to say that Terran makes a good point… If you study history you will find more atrocities have been committed in the name of religion than for any other reason… and of those, a large portion may be attributed to Christianity. Wiccans celebrate the world around us as their deity(s), and I cannot think of a single instance where a (true) Wiccan has committed similar crimes against humanity. BTW, just for the record, I am neither Christian or Wiccan… just a 3rd party observer. (Sorry to post as anon, but I really don't want to receive what seems to be the prerequisite onslaught of emails telling me how I'm going to hell because I am not toeing the Christian line…)
Anonymous: Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao…any of these ring a bell? Yes, people, in the name of a religion or god have committed horrible acts. But would you say that the crusaders were living like Jesus or like men looking for power? Are those who flew planes into the WTC the poster children for Islam? People can say they are "Christians" but not act at all like it. I can say I am Superman, but it doesn't mean it is true. Atheism is just as much of a religion as Christianity and has actually killed more people than any other "religion". Read up on history before you bring rehashed cliches to the table.
