The law firm of Steven J. Baum in Buffalo, New York, held a homeless themed Halloween party last year and a former employee decided to “leak” the pictures this weekend. The firm represents banks and mortgage servicers as they attempt to foreclose on homeowners and evict them from their homes. What horrible people. The epitome of heartlessness.
The NY Times story says there is a lawsuit that alleges they “consistently failed to file certain papers that are necessary to allow for a state-mandated settlement conference that can lead to a modification.” In other words, if those allegations are correct, they are fraudulently stealing people’s houses. If that’s true, these people need to go to prison for it. It’s sick how they twist and ignore the law to ruin people’s lives.
Employees dressed up as homeless squatters.
Part of the office was meant to look like a row of foreclosed homes.
“Crazy Susie” is a woman who posted a YouTube video denouncing the firm. More on Susan Chana Lask: http://www.appellate-brief.com/
